We're Hiring

Four full-time roles · Immediate start · Remote (U.S.)

About the Institute for Primary Facts

The Institute for Primary Facts (IPF) is a Washington, DC–based 501(c)(3) pro-democracy education organization. We exist on a single conviction: that the public can only resist corruption it can clearly see and understand - and that in an information environment engineered for overwhelm, comprehension requires a different kind of space.

Our method is politics in three dimensions. We take the most complex, deliberately obscured facts of public life and turn them into physical, in-person experiences that ordinary people can walk through, grasp, and act on. Our first project, the Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room, presented all 3,437 bound volumes of the released Epstein files as a single, undeniable object. Across two runs in Manhattan and Washington, DC, it drew roughly 15,000 visitors, 250+ press placements across seven countries, and more than 100 million social media impressions - and, crucially, converted attention into real civic action.

This fall, we take that model national: a five-city Reading Room tour and a purpose-built Bookmobile reaching dozens of locations in the heartland. We are building the team that turns viral moments into a durable institution.

Why now: We have a proven product, broad popular support, deep credibility, and real momentum. What we need is a small, senior, entrepreneurial team to scale it - fast.

How We Work

IPF runs lean and moves fast. We use AI and automation to do in-house what comparable organizations outsource to agencies or hand off to junior staff. Every person on this team is expected to be technically fluent and AI-native - to build and run systems, not just manage vendors. If you reach for a contractor before you reach for a tool, this isn't the team for you. If you get excited about compounding your own output with technology, read on.

What We Offer
  • Full-time employment. These are core roles, built to last beyond the 2026 cycle.
  • Remote-first (U.S.-based), with travel as the work requires - including to Reading Room and Bookmobile stops during the fall tour.
  • Competitive compensation. Published salary ranges below, benchmarked to be at or above market for comparable advocacy and nonprofit roles.
  • Benefits: employer-subsidized health, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off plus federal holidays; a professional development allowance; and a home-office/equipment stipend. Work-related travel is covered.
  • Mission and pace: a rare chance to build something new, work directly with survivors and nationally known partners, and see your work reach millions.

Reports to: David Garrett, Executive Director, for all four roles.
